Creating DOE Parent Emails (Parents Only)

NYC Schools Account Video


Step 1 - 

log into https://mystudent.nyc

Step 2 - 
"Choose Language" in the Top Right Corner (Default is English)

Step 3 - 
"Choose Create Account" (Add name, cell phone number and parent's email address) 

Step 4 - 
"Click "Validate Email"

Step 5 - 
In a separate internet browser window, Check the email address that you entered for a verification code from nycsa&schools.nyc.gov 

Step 6 - 
If you do not see an email from them within 15 minutes, please check you spam or junk folders in your email.

Step 7 - 
Enter the verification code on your new schools account to complete your account.

Step 8 - 
Create a password that you will not forget (Passwords must be at least 8 characters long, have 1 number and 1 special character (!@#$% etc..) and 1 Capital Letter)

Step 9 - 
Create 3 Security Questions and answers that you will not forget

Step 10 - 
Add Students (To add students you will need your child's Student ID # and Creation Code) If you do not have your child's information it can be provided to you by our Parent Coordinator, Zarifa Muhammad zmuhammad@bgms.org

Step 11 - 
You will then see a POP-UP window with your name and information, if the information is correct "Click Proceed" and sign into your account!!
