Meet our Parent Coordinator  Dear Parents and Guardians: I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Zarifa Muhammad and I am your Parent Coordinator here at BGMS. As Parent Coordinator, I look forward to meeting each one of you, working with you and discovering new and more effective ways to assist all parents become a more positive and involved participant in your child’s education. My role as your Parent Coordinator, under the supervision of the Principal, is to assist you in building a strong partnership with the school, the Parent Association, and to establish a welcoming school environment for all parents. In addition, my role is also to assist parents with issues and concerns related to their children and/or the school, make sure the school has an active functioning Parent Association, as well as outreach to parents, assist parents in knowing how to support their child’s learning and provide information sessions and resources. I have an open door policy and will gladly meet with you, or you can call and make an appointment to see me.
