Science
Our science program is designed to build curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of scientific concepts through hands-on and engaging learning experiences.
In 6th and 7th grade, students use Amplify Science, a research-based curriculum that encourages students to think like scientists. Lessons are inquiry-driven, allowing students to investigate real-world problems, analyze data, and develop evidence-based explanations.
In 8th grade, students take Living Environment (Biology), a high school-level Regents course. This course prepares students for the New York State Regents Examination and focuses on key topics such as cells, genetics, and ecosystems.
Across all grades, our science program emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and the application of scientific knowledge to the world around us.
